The depth map was algorithmically generated in 2018 as part of the Digital Rosetta Stone project, a collaboration of Leipzig University (Chair of Digital Humanities and the Egyptological Institute/Egyptian Museum Georg Steindorff), the British Museum and the Digital Epigraphy and Archaeology Project of the University of Florida.
